Title: Hotel General Manager

Location: Lake Placid, NY

Salary: 90-100k

We are seeking an experienced Hotel General Manager to oversee a 90-room select-service hotel in Lake Placid, NY. This position is responsible for overall hotel operations, financial performance, guest satisfaction, revenue, team development, and compliance with Marriott brand standards.

Responsibilities

Oversee daily hotel operations across Front Office, Housekeeping, Food & Beverage, Engineering, and Sales.
Ensure compliance with Marriott and Courtyard brand standards, guest service expectations, and quality requirements.
Manage department heads, staffing, training, performance, and team development.
Manage budgeting, forecasting, labor costs, expenses, profitability, and overall financial performance.
Partner with Sales and Revenue Management to maximize occupancy, ADR, RevPAR, and revenue.
Monitor guest satisfaction, Marriott Bonvoy engagement, service recovery, property standards, and operational priorities.

Required Qualifications

5+ years of progressive hotel management experience.
Previous Hotel General Manager experience required.
Experience with Marriott or another major hotel brand required; Courtyard experience preferred.
Strong experience managing hotel operations, department heads, and hotel teams.
Experience with hotel budgeting, forecasting, labor management, and financial performance.
Experience with revenue management, guest satisfaction, Food & Beverage, and quality standards.
Seasonal or destination hotel experience preferred.
