What You’ll Do

This is a highly visible role for someone who enjoys balancing relationship management, business development, and credit expertise.

You will:

Develop and grow commercial banking relationships throughout the communities we serve
Proactively prospect for new business and build strong connections with business owners, referral partners, and community leaders
Serve as the primary relationship manager for commercial customers and their broader banking needs
Structure, underwrite, and originate commercial loan opportunities
Analyze financial statements, tax returns, cash flow, and other credit information to assess risk and opportunity
Present loan requests and recommendations to Loan Committee and Board leadership
Manage and monitor an assigned commercial loan portfolio
Collaborate with commercial credit and internal bank partners to deliver strong customer solutions
Participate in community events, volunteer activities, and relationship-building opportunities that strengthen BS&L’s local presence
Support portfolio quality, documentation compliance, audits, and ongoing risk management

What We’re Looking For

You may be a great fit if you bring:

5+ years of progressive commercial lending, credit, or portfolio management experience
Strong commercial underwriting and credit analysis skills
Experience structuring both CRE and C&I commercial loan solutions
Confidence analyzing financial statements, tax returns, and cash flow
Business development instincts and relationship-building strength
Strong communication and presentation skills
Sound judgment, negotiation ability, and risk awareness
A collaborative, team-first mindset
Community-minded energy and a genuine interest in relationship banking
Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or related field preferred.

Compensation & Benefits

Salary range: $80,000 – $150,000 annually, depending on experience
