Role Description The Procurement Specialist - Buyer is a full-time, on-site role located in Morrisville, VT. This role is responsible for managing purchasing activities, including creating and processing purchase orders, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring timely delivery of materials and components for manufacturing. The Procurement Specialist - Buyer will evaluate suppliers, negotiate pricing and terms, and monitor inventory levels to support production schedules. Daily tasks include analyzing usage and cost data, coordinating with internal teams such as manufacturing and finance, and resolving discrepancies with vendors. The role also involves maintaining strong communication with suppliers, supporting continuous improvement in purchasing processes, and adhering to company policies and quality standards.
Qualifications

Demonstrated knowledge of purchasing processes and purchasing best practices.
Experience creating, managing, and tracking purchase orders in an ERP or similar system.
Strong analytical skills for evaluating supplier performance, costs, and inventory needs.
Effective communication skills for collaborating with internal teams and external vendors.
Attention to detail and organizational skills for managing multiple orders and deadlines.
Experience in manufacturing or supply chain environments is beneficial.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office or similar tools; familiarity with procurement software is a plus.
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or related field, or equivalent experience.
