Our Development and Communications Team is looking for a Donor Relations & Marketing Specialist! This position supports Age Well’s fundraising, donor engagement, and communications efforts as part of the Development & Communications team. This role manages donor data systems, supports fundraising campaigns and events, coordinates town funding activities, and assists with marketing and communications initiatives.
Working closely with the Director of Major Giving, Chief Advancement Officer, Marketing & Communications Associate, and Finance team, this position helps strengthen donor relationships and advance Age Well’s mission.
Essential Job Functions
Fundraising & Donor Relations
- Manage gift acknowledgements, including thank-you calls, notes, and receipts.
- Maintain accurate donor records and communication history in Bloomerang CRM.
- Support donor research, retention efforts, and prospect identification.
- Assist with fundraising campaigns, mailings, online giving, and events.
- Help coordinate donor stewardship and engagement activities.
Database Management & Reporting
- Maintain Bloomerang CRM and Fundraise Up donation platform systems to ensure data accuracy and compliance.
- Create reports, dashboards, and queries to track fundraising performance.
- Conduct regular database clean-up and audits.
- Document and improve data entry and reporting procedures.
- Collaborate with Finance to process gifts and reconcile monthly revenue.
Town Funding Coordination
- Manage town funding applications, reporting, and outreach.
- Maintain templates, financials, and supporting materials.
- Coordinate Age Well representation at town meetings and petition sites.
- Compile data for town impact reports.
Marketing & Communications
- Support donor communications through storytelling, photos, video, surveys, and reports.
- Coordinate and schedule social media content for Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn.
- Assist with email marketing, subscriber lists, and campaign distribution.
- Track marketing requests, inventory, and campaign performance metrics.
A cover letter and resume in reverse chronological order must be included for consideration for this position.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- At least one year of similar experience, preferably in a nonprofit setting.
- Strong organizational, communication, analytical, and project management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently and collaboratively.
- Experience with social media platforms and email marketing tools such as MailChimp.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, SharePoint, and CRM systems; Bloomerang and Fundraise Up experience preferred.
- Knowledge of CRM best practices and data management standards.
