Job Title: Parts Clerk
Reports to: Maintenance Coordinator
Effective Date: December 2023
Direct Reports: None
FLSA: Non-Exempt
Description And Essential Functions
Supports the Maintenance department by ensuring an adequate inventory of
Bus Parts
Orders parts, receives them upon delivery, verifies count to ensure
accurate quantity and
quality
Uses automotive parts catalogs to identify the correct parts to be
ordered
Collects multiple price quotes to achieve the best price and products
Maintains accurate inventory by monitoring and updating inventory
Performs annual inventory audit
Sends out weekly bids on stocked parts for reorder
Receives and reconciles invoices
Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications
A combination of education and/or experience that provides the required
Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities To
perform the essential functions of the position. Additional experience,
as outlined below, may be substituted
for the required education on a year-for-year basis.
Education and/or Experience: High school diploma or equivalent; one (1)
year of experience in
Inventory Control Preferred. Experience In The Automotive Industry
preferred.
Essential Job Skills and Abilities: Proficiency in Microsoft Office
Suite and Google products. Strong verbal
and written communication skills, ability to multi-task, be highly
organized, have attention to detail,
flexibility, and the ability to negotiate with multiple vendors. Ability
to communicate with a diverse
population, work effectively in an environment with multiple competing
priorities, and precision in
Inventory Control. Fork-lift Experience Is Preferred But Willing To
train.
