Job Type: Permanent position, Full-time
Hourly Pay Scale: Min $26.00 - Max $33.00/hr., starting pay based on years of experience.

Expected hours: 36-40 per week, Monday through Friday, 7 am-330/430pm.
Experience:
- Residential Construction experience: 2+ years (Required)
Skills and Qualifications:
- Ability to problem-solve and troubleshoot.
- Knowledge of construction methods and various trades, including demolition, framing, drywall, painting, flooring, tiling, finish carpentry, window, door, and siding installation.
- Ability to interact and communicate effectively with the client, manager, subcontractors, and co-workers throughout the job.
- Self-starter and independent worker with strong attention to detail.
- Able to take direction from the General Contractor.
- Mechanical skills to operate necessary building equipment and tools.
- Ability to perform heavy labor, such as moving materials.
- Physical stamina to handle long hours of strenuous work in hot or cold weather.
- Effective time management skills.
- Knowledge of building regulations and codes to be followed.
Responsibilities:
- Perform all duties as assigned by the General Contractor, Supervisor, or Foreman.
- Must be able to perform physical activities such as, but not limited to, lifting equipment, bending, standing, climbing, or walking.
- Must be able to use manual and power tools and equipment safely.
- Demolition of cabinetry, countertops, flooring, kitchens, bathrooms, showers, drywall, framing, etc.
- Minor framing, such as installing doorways, load-bearing beams, or removing or building walls.
- Drywall repairs, installation, and making ready for paint.
- Installing wooden structures such as roofing frames, rafters, partitions, joists, and stud work
- Installation of cabinets, shelving, fitted furniture, drywall, and insulation.
- Adding fixtures and fittings such as door handles, locks, hinges, and closures
- All levels of trim/millwork installation, including pre-finished moldings, crown, base, and doors.
- Calculating the number of fasteners required for each job.
- Reading blueprints and designs to work to specifications prepared by other construction professionals, architects, and building code recommendations.
License/Certification:
- Unrestricted Vermont Driver's License (Required)
Training/Education Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
