Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Fertility Nurse Practitioner to join our innovative reproductive health team as Clinical Director. In this dynamic role, you will provide expert clinical care to patients undergoing fertility treatments, assist with family planning, and support individuals and couples on their journey toward parenthood. Your expertise will help optimize treatment outcomes through comprehensive assessments, personalized care plans, and individualized treatments. Duties
- Shared responsibility between clinical days and ultrasound days.
- Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical histories, related to reproductive health.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for fertility therapies, including medication administration and monitoring.
- Perform specialized procedures such as ultrasound sonography and intrauterine insemination (IUI).
- Educate patients on fertility options, medication protocols, lifestyle modifications, and post-treatment care.
- Collaborate with physicians, clinical team, embryologists, and admin/billing to coordinate care and optimize outcomes.
- Manage and develop a team of nurses and medical assistants.
- Weekend coverage and on call after hours - 13 weeks per year.
Skills:
- Experience working with reproductive health technologies and procedures such as assisted reproductive technology (ART) and family planning a plus.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology related to gynecology, endocrinology, and physiology of reproduction.
- Proficiency in using EMR/EHR systems for documentation and patient management.
- Skilled in performing clinical procedures including suturing, IV infusion, venipuncture, catheterization, and sterile technique.
- Familiarity with CPT coding for billing purposes related to fertility treatments and diagnostic evaluations.
- Experience in patient education regarding fertility options, medication administration, and lifestyle counseling.
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations ensuring confidentiality of sensitive patient information; experience with telehealth platforms is a plus.
