Digital Marketing Manager - Work for Warriors (VTARNG)

Overview
Gant Global Services (GGS) is seeking an experienced Digital Marketing Manager to support the Vermont National Guard Work for Warriors (WFW) Program. The Digital Marketing Manager serves as a Key Personnel position responsible for statewide digital outreach, content development, social media management, website content administration, multimedia production, and marketing initiatives designed to connect Vermont National Guard members, Reservists, Veterans, and their families with employment opportunities and support services.
The successful candidate will develop and execute digital engagement strategies that increase program awareness, strengthen employer partnerships, promote career opportunities, and support workforce development initiatives throughout Vermont.
Key Responsibilities
Digital Marketing & Communications
- Develop and implement statewide digital marketing campaigns supporting the Work for Warriors mission.
- Create engaging content for social media platforms including Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, X, and other approved channels.
- Develop and maintain monthly content calendars and outreach plans.
- Monitor social media performance and provide analytics and engagement reports.
Content Creation & Multimedia Production
- Design digital and print marketing materials including flyers, brochures, banners, infographics, and promotional materials.
- Produce and edit videos, podcasts, interviews, testimonials, and promotional content.
- Create visual content supporting job fairs, employer outreach events, military family events, and community engagement activities.
- Ensure all content aligns with Vermont National Guard branding requirements.
Website Management
- Maintain and update content for the Work for Warriors Vermont website.
- Coordinate website content updates, event announcements, success stories, employment opportunities, and resource information.
- Monitor website performance and recommend improvements to user engagement and accessibility.
Outreach & Event Support
- Support statewide employment outreach initiatives and community engagement events.
- Attend job fairs, military community events, Yellow Ribbon events, and employer engagement activities as required.
- Coordinate digital promotion of events and recruitment activities.
- Assist in developing relationships with employers, community organizations, and workforce development partners.
Reporting & Performance Management
- Track campaign performance and key engagement metrics.
- Prepare monthly reports outlining digital outreach activities, social media engagement, website analytics, and marketing outcomes.
- Provide recommendations for improving program visibility and outreach effectiveness.
Minimum Qualifications
Education
Bachelor's Degree In

Experience
- Minimum of three (3) years of professional experience in digital marketing, social media management, multimedia production, or related communications roles.
- Experience creating and managing organizational social media campaigns.
- Experience designing digital and print marketing materials.
- Experience managing website content and content management systems (CMS).
Required Skills
- Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere Pro) or equivalent.
- Canva or similar graphic design platforms.
- Video editing and multimedia production.
- Social media management tools and analytics platforms.
- Website content management systems (WordPress or similar).
- Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting military, veteran, National Guard, workforce development, or nonprofit organizations.
- Experience with public affairs, community outreach, or workforce recruitment campaigns.
- Experience producing podcasts and video content.
- Knowledge of employment services, career development, and workforce engagement initiatives.
- Familiarity with Google Analytics and SEO best practices.
Additional Requirements
- Ability to work onsite at Camp Johnson in Colchester, Vermont.
- Ability to travel throughout Vermont to support outreach events and stakeholder engagements.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Ability to obtain and maintain installation access.
