Duties
- Perform comprehensive diagnostics on vehicles and equipment using schematics, electrical testing, and hand tools to identify issues accurately.
- Conduct repairs and maintenance on a variety of machinery.
- Fabricate parts or components as needed using welding, soldering, power tools, and fabrication techniques to ensure proper fit and function
- Troubleshoot electrical systems and perform electrical repairs with precision while adhering to safety standards.
- Maintain detailed service records, follow safety protocols, and ensure all work meets industry standards for quality and safety.
Skills
- Experience working in an automotive environment setting.
- Strong mechanical knowledge across automotive repair
- Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, soldering irons, and diagnostic tools for effective repairs.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining attention to detail during repairs or maintenance tasks.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly to clients or team members.
- Experience with fabrication techniques such as welding and metalworking; knowledge of Caterpillar or similar heavy machinery brands is a plus.
