Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled, experienced, and reliable Wedding Videographer for projects in Southern Vermont.
Opportunities to work all over New England, the U.S., and destinations, if interested and skills are proven. We are shooting a wedding in Sweden this week!
The ideal candidate is chill but friendly, has a passion for documentary and cinematic visuals, and the ability to capture authentic and candid moments as they unfold (unobtrusive).
Key Responsibilities:
- Capture wedding day events using a documentary-style approach, blending into the background to preserve authentic moments.
- Operate professional video equipment and audio equipment (Clean audio is a MUST!)
- Behave respectfully and responsibly on-site. A friendly, chill demeanor is desired.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their vision and ensure their story is reflected in the final product.
- Film pre-wedding events (e.g., engagement sessions) when required.
- Assist with organizing and managing footage for post-production.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Strong portfolio showcasing cinematic and documentary-style wedding, event videography, and/or documentary filmmaking.
- Proficiency in operating DSLR/mirrorless cameras, drones, and audio equipment.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work unobtrusively during events.
- Experience in fast-paced, high-pressure environments such as weddings or live events.
- Ability to travel for destination weddings and multi-day events (domestic and international).
- Collaborative mindset and a willingness to work with photographers, planners, and other vendors.
Nice to Have:
- Background in commercial and/or documentary film and video production.
- Post-production knowledge (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro) is a plus.
- FAA Part 107 Drone Certification.
