Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Heat Pump Installer to join our dynamic HVAC team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, commissioning, and troubleshooting heat pump systems in residential and commercial settings.

Responsibilities
- Install heat pump systems according to schematics, HVAC design plans, and manufacturer specifications, ensuring precise placement and secure connections.
- Conduct system start-up procedures, verify proper operation, and perform adjustments for optimal performance.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot issues using tools such as ohmmeters and refrigeration gauges; perform repairs on components including compressors, fans, valves, and electrical controls.
- Interpret technical schematics, wiring diagrams, and mechanical drawings to facilitate accurate installation and maintenance.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks on HVAC equipment, including cleaning coils, replacing filters, and checking refrigerant levels
Qualifications
- Proven experience in construction-related roles or as a service technician within HVAC or refrigeration fields.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with familiarity in HVAC design principles, plumbing systems, air conditioning units, boilers, and appliance repair.
- Experience reading schematics and technical diagrams essential for accurate system installation and troubleshooting.
- Knowledge of refrigeration systems including ammonia refrigeration is a plus; familiarity with HVAC/R (Heating Ventilation Air Conditioning/Refrigeration) systems preferred.
- Ability to operate field service equipment such as ohmmeters, refrigerant gauges, welding tools, and other diagnostic instruments confidently.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
Pay: $26.75 - $32.21 per hour
