Overview
We are seeking dedicated and enthusiastic servers to join our team at Spaghet Red Sauce Joint in Williston. We are open for dinner nightly at 4pm and lunch on the weekend starting at 11am. The ideal candidates will have a passion for Italian-American food and providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment. As a server, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our guests have an enjoyable dining experience by delivering high-quality service and maintaining the standards of our restaurant. We are looking for candidates with full availability, weekends are mandatory.
Pay:
This is a tipped position, base rate is $14.50 an hour plus tips.
Total Average Earnings estimated depending on hours & schedule worked.
Duties
- Greet and seat guests in a friendly and welcoming manner.
- Take food and beverage orders accurately using the POS system.
- Provide detailed information about menu items, including daily specials and promotions.
- Pour beer, wine, and sodas as needed for tables.
- Make espresso and coffee drinks for guests.
- Ensure timely delivery of food and drinks to tables.
- Assist guests with any inquiries or special requests, ensuring their needs are met promptly.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the dining area, including tables, chairs, and service stations.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure efficient service and communication regarding orders.
- Adhere to food safety guidelines and restaurant policies at all times.
- Manage time effectively to ensure all tasks are completed efficiently during busy periods.
- Complete side work before and after shifts as needed.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in the food industry or restaurant setting
- Knowledge of food safety practices is essential to maintain a safe dining environment.
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables and tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.
- A positive attitude and willingness to help others, ensuring guest satisfaction at all times.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds as needed.
Pay: $28.00 - $32.00 per hour
