Marketing Coordinator
Bolton Valley is looking for a versatile marketing professional, looking for an opportunity to become an integral member of a small, collaborative team where every day looks a little different.

Key Responsibilities
Marketing & Content
- Plan, create, and publish engaging content across Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube, and other digital platforms.
- Capture and edit high-quality photo and video content that showcases the Bolton Valley experience throughout all four seasons.
- Write compelling copy for social media, email campaigns, website pages, blogs, and promotional materials.
- Assist in developing and executing seasonal marketing campaigns and promotions.
- Monitor social media channels, respond to comments and messages, and foster an engaged online community.
Digital Marketing
- Build, schedule, and manage email marketing campaigns, including copywriting, design, testing, and audience segmentation.
- Update and maintain the Bolton Valley website through WordPress, ensuring content is accurate, current, and user-friendly.
- Improve website performance through basic SEO best practices, keyword research, and metadata optimization.
- Track and report on website, email, and social media performance using Google Analytics and platform insights.
- Assist with digital advertising campaigns and other marketing initiatives as needed.
Events & Resort Support
- Capture photo and video content during events, races, concerts, and daily resort operations.
- Assist with planning, setup, promotion, and execution of resort events and activations.
- Ski, snowboard, and mountain bike regularly to create authentic, first-person content from across the resort.
- Work closely with other departments to promote resort operations, lodging, dining, lessons, events, and guest experiences.
Team Collaboration
- Brainstorm creative marketing ideas and contribute to campaign planning.
- Manage multiple projects and deadlines while maintaining a high level of quality and attention to detail.
- Jump in wherever needed to support the marketing team and broader resort operations.
Qualifications
- 1–3 years of experience in marketing, communications, social media, or a related field.
- Strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills.
- Experience with photography, videography, and editing software such as Adobe Creative Suite, Final Cut Pro, CapCut, Canva, or similar. Portfolio required.
- Experience managing social media platforms and creating engaging content.
- Familiarity with WordPress or another content management system.
- Experience with email marketing platforms such as Ascent360 or similar.
- Basic understanding of SEO principles and Google Analytics.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a small team.
- Highly organized with excellent time management and communication skills.
- Comfortable skiing/snowboarding, and mountain biking at an intermediate level or above.
- Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Availability to work weekends, holidays, and special events.
- Passion for outdoor recreation and the Bolton Valley brand.
