The Product Manager will perform the following responsibilities:
- Serve as a member of steering committees and core project teams.
- Act as the assigned technical lead for project initiatives.
- Coordinate with internal teams, external vendors, and other stakeholders to resolve technical issues, answer questions, and communicate updates to the project team.
- Participate in project meetings and maintain alignment with project goals and objectives.
- Provide technical guidance and support to subject matter experts (SMEs), implementation leads, and other business and technical stakeholders.
- Oversee data migration activities and the implementation of system interfaces and integrations.
- Contribute to Agile and Hybrid project management practices and methodologies.
- Research industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices applicable to the project.
- Assess and communicate technical complexity, risks, and effort estimates for proposed initiatives.
- Collaborate with project leadership to identify technically feasible solutions that align with business priorities.
- Support infrastructure, platform, and architecture decisions.
- Oversee release management activities to ensure successful deployment and implementation of project deliverables.
- Ensure the overall quality, stability, and maintainability of technical solutions.
- Explain technical concepts to business stakeholders to support informed decision-making.
- Mentor and coach technical team members, as appropriate.
- Identify, prioritize, and communicate technical debt, risks, and mitigation strategies.
- Collaborate with vendors to evaluate technical solutions, conduct research, perform proof-of-concepts, and address technical questions.
- Partner with project leadership and procurement teams to monitor vendor performance and deliverables.
- Participate in retrospectives and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Coordinate with vendors to review and develop system documentation, user guides, and training materials.
- Resolve technical roadblocks and facilitate issue resolution.
- Evaluate vendor products and technology solutions to support system implementation and ongoing enhancements.
Assigned personnel must demonstrate the technical expertise, reliability, and professionalism necessary to support successful project delivery. Responsibilities include ensuring project deliverables meet established quality standards and supporting the timely completion of project objectives within approved scope, schedule, and budget while adhering to applicable organizational standards, policies, and project governance practices.
