Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end manufacturing projects, including packaging line installations, equipment upgrades, process improvements, plant utilities modifications, refrigeration, and civil building construction
- Develop detailed project plans outlining scope, timelines, milestones, resource allocation, and Capex spend forecasting
- Lead internal teams across manufacturing, quality, maintenance, and supply chain, alongside managing external vendors, contractors, and equipment suppliers
- Maintain strict compliance with food safety, regulatory, and quality standards throughout all project phases
- Align production capabilities with formulation, packaging, and scaling requirements to successfully launch new products
- Track operational metrics, lead projects using Early Equipment Management (EEM) methodology, and execute initiatives to enhance efficiency and reduce waste
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering
- 8+ years of project management experience within CPG manufacturing
- Previous supervisory experience to lead a small team
- Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale engineering/ capital equipment (CapEx) projects
- Deep understanding of manufacturing processes, plant operations, production scheduling, equipment management and lean principles
- strong leadership skills with the ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously and influence cross-functional teams
