General Purpose
This position is responsible for the daily operations and maintenance including landscaping, parking maintenance and enforcement, general maintenance, shelter reservations, trash removal, beach clearing, and more. This position requires great customer service skills and the eagerness to engage our park users in a helpful manner. Location will alternate from Oakledge Park.

Pay Grade: $19.17 Hourly
Remote Tier 1: Zero (0) days remote/week.
Essential Job Functions
- Light maintenance, to include trash collections, push mowing, & string trimming.
- Clean rest room.
- Keep picnic shelters clean.
- Clean park grounds to include both beaches.
- Clean and maintain grills and picnic tables.
- Manage supplies such as soap cleaners & toilet paper.
- Ability to learn about and spot Cyanobacteria.
- Ability to learn and field questions about water quality based on BPRW’ s water testing.
- Welcome park users & provide general park information to the public.
- Position may require the operation of City vehicles and/or personal vehicles in order to conduct City business
Qualifications/Basic Job Requirements

- Must be 16 years old or older
- If applicant has a license, they must be able to pass a motor vehicle check
- Operation of a City vehicle or personal vehicle to conduct City business without providing proof of a valid driver’s license to Human Resources will not be permitted. A valid driver’s license shall be defined as a current state of residence-issued license to operate a motor vehicle on public roadways. Position also requires the ability to be covered under the City’s vehicle insurance policy prior to operation of any city vehicles or non-City vehicles for City business.
