Location: Berlin Health & Rehabilitation Center – Barre, VT
We are seeking reliable, detail-oriented Housekeepers to join our dedicated team at Berlin Health & Rehabilitation Center! As a Housekeeper, you will play a vital role in maintaining a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for our residents, visitors, and staff.
Responsibilities:
- Clean, dry mop, and wet mop resident rooms
- Clean and sanitize bathrooms, furniture, and equipment
- Empty trash receptacles and properly dispose of waste
- Clean staff dining areas, stairwells, hallways, and other assigned spaces
- Vacuum carpets and floor surfaces
- Restock housekeeping supplies as needed
- Perform occasional light maintenance duties
- Follow all safety, sanitation, and infection-control procedures
Qualifications:
- Ability to read, write, and communicate in English
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Ability to follow departmental safety policies and procedures
- Ability to meet the physical requirements of the position
- Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience preferred, but not required
- Reliable, hardworking, and committed to maintaining high cleanliness standards
