Labor and Delivery Nurse (L&D) in Middlebury, Vermont. This assignment involves providing specialized maternity care within the labor and delivery department, supporting patients through childbirth and postpartum recovery. The position offers a stable schedule during night shifts, with an emphasis on quality patient care and teamwork.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certifications; at least 1 year of experience in labor, delivery, postpartum care, and newborn care; Epic electronic medical record experience within the past 2 years; location requirements include current licensure to practice as a registered nurse in the state of Vermont.
- Preferred Qualifications: Prior travel experience is preferred.
- Additional Information:
- Assignment for 13-16 weeks, must start on 08/10/2026.
- A minimum of every other weekend scheduled; flexibility to meet unit needs.
- No block schedules are permitted.
- Bi-weekly orientations on Mondays.
- All employment gaps over 90 days should be explained.
- Complete work history information including bed count, EMR, and facility type is required to submit applications.
- IVS to OFFER.
- Shift details are based on a 12-hour night schedule.
- Reliable transportation is strongly recommended; personal or rental vehicle with all-season or snow tires during November through April is advised.
