Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN) located in Saint Albans, Vermont. This position involves providing specialized nursing care in the emergency department within a dynamic healthcare environment. The role is a 13-week travel assignment designed to support the organizations clinical needs, offering opportunities for experienced ER RNs to showcase their skills in a fast-paced setting.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Rotating shift, with a total of 12 hours per shift, requiring 36 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Valid Vermont Registered Nurse (RN) license or multi-state license upon start date; BLS (Basic Life Support), ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), NIHSS (National Institute of Health Stroke Scale) certifications; 1 year of experience providing emergency nursing care.
- Preferred Qualifications: 3-4 years of ER RN experience; certifications such as CEN (Certified Emergency Nurse), CPEN (Certified Pediatric Emergency Nurse), TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course), ENPC (Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course), and PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) are highly encouraged.
- Additional Information: This assignment includes approximately 8 hours of on-call duty per two-week period, with call pay provided at an additional rate. The RN will generally be scheduled for mid shifts, from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m.
