Applicants must meet one of the following:
- 12 college credits in Early Childhood or School Age Education plus 12 months of experience with children
- Associate's degree in early childhood, Child/Human Development, Elementary Education, or Child & Family Services.
- Registered Child Care Apprenticeship Certificate.
- Community College of Vermont Child Care Certificate plus 12 months of qualifying experience.
Additional requirements include:
- Strong communication skills.
- Availability Monday–Friday, 7:30 a.m.–5:00 p.m.
- Experience with toddler-aged children is preferred.
- Familiarity with emergent curriculum is preferred.
