Front Counter Associate – Part-Time
Vespa’s Pizza Pasta & Deli is looking for a friendly, dependable Front Counter Associate to join our team. This position will start part-time, with the potential to grow into a full-time role for the right person.
Our front counter can be fast-paced, so we’re looking for someone who is comfortable juggling multiple responsibilities while still providing great service to our guests. Strong communication and time-management skills are a must.
What we’re looking for:
- Must be 18 years or older due to alcohol sales
- Friendly, professional, and comfortable interacting with guests
- Strong communication skills with both customers and coworkers
- Able to multitask and prioritize during busy service
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
- Dependable and able to work well as part of a team
- Able to maintain a clean, organized front counter and work area
- Willing to learn and jump in where needed
Responsibilities include:
- Greeting guests and taking orders accurately
- Handling in-person and phone orders
- Processing payments
- Preparing milkshakes and other front-counter items
- Keeping the front counter, dining area, and workspaces clean and organized
- Managing multiple tasks efficiently during busy periods
- Communicating with the kitchen and other team members to keep service running smoothly
Schedule:
- Primarily evening shifts starting at 4:00 PM
- This position will start part-time, with the possibility of becoming full-time based on availability, performance, and the needs of the restaurant
- Occasional daytime availability may be needed for training
- Opportunities for daytime shifts may become available with experience
Pay:
This is a primarily tip-based position, with total earnings typically averaging approximately $25–$35 per hour, including tips.
