Adecco Permanent Recruitment is actively searching for a Quality Control Documentation Specialist for a growing industrial manufacturing organization based in Williston, VT.
This is an outstanding opportunity for a detail-oriented quality professional who wants to join a growing manufacturing organization. The position is focused on compiling, reviewing, and validating technical documentation tied to customer orders while working closely with production, quality, customers, and third-party inspectors.
The Quality Control Documentation Specialist will play an important role in ensuring all required documentation is complete, accurate, and compliant prior to product delivery. This is primarily an office-based position with occasional interaction on the production floor as needed.
Onsite Position - Williston, VT
Responsibilities:
• Review and record documentation requirements for customer orders based on internal quality control instructions.
• Compile and organize all required documentation throughout the production process, including test reports, inspection reports, and certificates of conformity.
• Ensure completeness, accuracy, and integrity of all documentation prior to shipment.
• Proactively follow up with internal teams to obtain missing or incomplete documentation.
• Identify and escalate documentation issues, partnering with production and quality teams to resolve gaps and maintain delivery timelines.
• Coordinate production stoppages or checkpoints that require customer or third-party inspector presence.
• Interface with customer representatives and third-party inspectors during onsite inspections to ensure documentation compliance.
• Maintain and update internal quality documentation databases and tracking systems.
• Generate and distribute reports on a scheduled basis.
• Support document control processes including archiving and retrieval of records.
• Assist with additional quality and documentation-related tasks as needed.
Qualifications:
• Technical degree or relevant industry experience.
• 3 to 5 years of experience in quality control and documentation within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and the Microsoft Office Suite.
• Experience working with technical documentation, compliance records, or manufacturing documentation packages.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Problem-solving mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate cross-functionally.
• Ability to exercise sound judgment and work independently.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience supporting quality control or quality assurance functions within an industrial manufacturing environment.
• Experience compiling and reviewing test reports, inspection reports, certificates of conformity, or similar technical documentation.
• Experience with document control, quality databases, documentation tracking systems, or record management.
• Experience coordinating documentation requirements with customers or third-party inspectors.
• Familiarity with manufacturing processes and working directly with production and quality teams.
• Experience identifying documentation gaps and coordinating corrective follow-up prior to shipment.
$55,000 - $65,000 base salary
