Position: Freezer Selector responsible for picking, organizing, and preparing product orders for delivery to local customers.
Key Duties Include
- Using order sheets or audio headsets to select items accurately
- Stacking products on pallets, applying labels, and ensuring safe wrapping
- Operating equipment such as double walkie-rider or electric pallet jacks
- Performing safety inspections and adhering to safety standards
- Safely lifting and handling products weighing 1-60 lbs, often from floor to overhead
- Maintaining accuracy and quality control in a frozen environment (-20° to 0°)
Qualifications & Skills
- High School Diploma or GED
- Ability to stand, bend, lift, and walk for extended periods, covering 6-12 miles daily
- Comfort with handling sharp objects and working in cold temperatures
- Strong attention to safety and operational procedures
