Role: CT Technologist responsible for performing high-quality CT scans, ensuring patient safety, and maintaining accurate documentation. Collaborates with radiologists and supervises clinical education for imaging students.
Responsibilities
- Perform safe and precise CT exams following departmental protocols
- Provide excellent patient care, education, and radiation safety checks
- Maintain accurate records in RIS and PACS systems
- Serve as a clinical supervisor and educator for students
- Assist with workflow improvements, equipment troubleshooting, and maintaining a clean environment
Qualifications & Skills
- Completion of an accredited 2-year Radiologic Technology Program
- Active NYS Radiologic Technologist License and ARRT registration
- ARRT CT Certification or eligibility, with certification obtained within 12 months
- Current BLS certification
- Preferred: 1+ years of general radiologic experience with CT exposure
