We are seeking an
MRI Tech to perform advanced MRI exams using various magnet strengths and imaging techniques. The role requires
independent judgment and
expertise in MRI physics, safety protocols, and
patient care. The technician must adapt to evolving technology, handle patients with claustrophobia, and ensure safety for those with medical implants such as pacemakers or electronic pumps. Responsibilities include operating MRI equipment, maintaining safety standards, and providing compassionate patient support.
- Graduate from an accredited Radiologic Technology program and certification by ARRT, ARMRIT, or NMTCB preferred.
- At least two years of radiology or cross-sectional imaging experience.
- Required to obtain advanced MRI certification within two years if holding a non-MRI radiology license.
- Knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and BLS certification is advantageous.
