Role: Echo Technician (Cardiac Sonographer)
Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality transthoracic echocardiograms (TTE) using advanced imaging techniques, including 2D, M-Mode, Color Doppler, PW/CW, and 3D imaging.
- Assist cardiologists with stress echocardiograms and transesophageal (TEE) procedures, ensuring patient safety and comfort.
- Analyze cardiac structural and blood flow measurements, providing preliminary findings and digital image datasets for diagnosis.
- Educate patients empathetically, addressing individual needs for a positive care experience.
- Maintain operational excellence through quality assurance, equipment troubleshooting, probe sanitation, and room readiness.
Qualifications & Skills
- Completion of an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography program specializing in Echocardiography.
- Active RDCS (ARDMS) or RCS (CCI) credential, or registry-eligible with certification within 12 months.
- Current BLS/CPR certification.
- Strong understanding of cardiac anatomy and pathology, excellent communication skills, computer literacy, and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
