Role: CT Technologist responsible for performing high-quality CT scans, ensuring patient safety, and delivering patient-centered care.
Responsibilities
- Perform accurate CT exams following departmental protocols.
- Provide excellent customer service, patient education, and radiation safety checks.
- Maintain precise records in RIS and PACS systems.
- Mentor and collaborate with imaging students and team members.
- Assist with workflow improvements, equipment troubleshooting, and maintaining a clean imaging environment.
Qualifications & Skills
- Completion of an accredited 2-year Radiologic Technology Program.
- Active NYS Radiologic Technologist License and ARRT registration.
- ARRT CT certification or eligibility, with certification obtained within 12 months.
- Current BLS certification.
- Preferred 1+ years of radiologic experience, including CT exposure.
