Job Summary
Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) Technologist Middlebury, VT. The MRI Technologist is responsible for patient safety and the performance of high-quality magnetic resonance studies. The role includes producing diagnostic images, communicating effectively with radiologists and customers, maintaining equipment and supplies, and training new technologists or patient coordinators when needed.
Job Details
- Required Qualifications: High school diploma or General Educational Development (GED) credential; Associates degree preferred or equivalent experience; American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) (R), ARRT (MR), or American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists (ARMRIT), as allowable by contract in lieu of ARRT; Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification; valid state drivers license, as applicable; state license, as applicable; ability to work at several locations.
- Preferred Qualifications: Magnetic Resonance (MR) registry certification; one or more years of magnetic resonance imaging experience.
- Schedule: Day shifts consisting of four 10-hour days per week, totaling 40 hours per week, including every Saturday.
- Additional Information: Responsibilities include screening patients for contraindications, using aseptic injection techniques, producing high-quality diagnostic images, ordering supplies, cleaning the unit, assisting with daily transport preparation, communicating with radiologists and customers, and training new technologists or patient coordinators. Local travel may be required.
