We are an independent contractor for Fedex Ground looking for a well diversed auto mechanic. Your expertise will drive vehicle performance and customer satisfaction! In this role, you will diagnose, repair, and maintain a range of different delivery trucks to ensure they operate safely and efficiently. Your mechanical skills and attention to detail will be essential in delivering top-quality service, whether working on gasoline engines, or advanced automotive electrical components.
Duties
- Perform comprehensive diagnostics using automotive electrical systems, schematics, and advanced diagnostic tools to identify issues accurately.
- Repair and maintain various vehicle systems including engines (gasoline), transmissions, powertrain components, suspension, steering, brakes, and shocks & struts.
- Conduct routine maintenance such as oil changes, brake replacements, tire rotations, and tire service to keep vehicles running smoothly.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools efficiently for repairs, replacements, welding, and other mechanical tasks.
- Maintain detailed service records and communicate effectively with management

Pay: $22.00 - $30.00 per hour
