Role Description
We are seeking a Full-Time, on-site Controller to join our team in Brattleboro, VT. The Controller will manage the finance department and oversee financial operations, including budgeting, reporting, and compliance. Responsibilities include creating financial statements, monitoring cash flow, analyzing financial trends, managing audits, evaluating financial policies, and ensuring adherence to applicable regulations. This role will be instrumental in supporting decision-making through financial strategies and cost-effective management. The Controller will work closely with senior leadership to optimize financial performance and operational efficiency.
Qualifications
- Financial expertise including financial reporting, budget management, and financial analysis
- Proficiency in financial software and systems, and advanced knowledge of accounting principles
- Strong leadership and team management skills to effectively oversee the finance department
- Understanding of regulatory compliance and audit processes
- Effective communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required; CPA and/or MBA preferred
- Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience, including prior leadership in financial operations
- Experience in the healthcare is highly desirable
