Plant Controller - Enhance financial transparency and drive operational efficiency within the manufacturing environment. Deliver financial insights on Cost of Goods Sold (COGS) and Manufacturing Operating Expenses, enable informed strategic decisions through comprehensive analytics, performance monitoring, and financial planning. Develop, implement, track, and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs), assess productivity initiatives, and support capital expenditures (CAPEX), cost savings programs, budgeting, and forecasting efforts. Create and monitor action plans aimed at improving operational results. Lead the preparation of insightful variance analyses and ad-hoc financial reports aligned with organizational objectives. Prepare and analyze weekly, monthly, and yearly operations performance reports, including variance analysis against budget, forecast, and prior year. Evaluate the financial impact of productivity initiatives and cost-saving projects. Provide costing support for new product commercialization and innovation projects. Drive continuous improvement initiatives by actively engaging with cross-functional teams to identify operational inefficiencies, brainstorm solutions, and implement best practices that enhance financial and manufacturing performance. Prepare and analyze technical reports and models related to utilization and capacity for both processing and packaging operations; run business simulations to support decision-making. Drive continuous improvement initiatives by enhancing reporting tools and methodologies. Develop and maintain tools for managing raw materials, ingredients, and packaging. Extract and transform data from manufacturing systems to provide insights for productivity and materials management. Collaborate in building and maintaining databases optimized for visualization and analytics tools such as Power BI. Support financial processes by preparing journal entries, assisting with account reconciliations, and maintaining product costings and cost rolls. Create and update documentation, including S&OP guidelines and cost control instructions. Prepare and validate data for physical inventory counts. Ensure compliance with internal audit requirements by providing accurate information and clear explanations.
HOURS: 40 per week
SALARY: $79,394.00 to $95,090.00 per year
Requirements: Requires a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration or its U.S. equivalent plus two years of experience as a Plant Controller or Financial & Planning Analysis Analyst utilizing SAP Controlling (CO) functions, SAP FICO (FI and CO modules), including cost center accounting, internal orders, product costing, and profit center management.
