### Position Overview:

Assembly Technicians play a crucial role in constructing, assembling,
and testing new motors, pumps and equipment following detailed
engineering drawings. They will use hand tools, power tools, air tools,
and other equipment to fasten components and ensure conformance to
specifications for the final build prior to setting up the test area to
conduct performance testing as applicable for the required scope of
work. The ideal candidate will have some experience in an assembly
environment, be proficient in reading/interpreting engineering drawings,
and possess the ability to use various measuring equipment with
precision. Competitive wage starting at \$27.00/hour and comprehensive

### Key Responsibilities:

- Assemble components and subassemblies according to engineered
drawings, work orders, and specifications.
- Read and interpret technical drawings and documents to assemble and
test high-quality motors, pumps, and equipment.
- Use hand tools, power tools, and assembly equipment to complete
assembly tasks efficiently and accurately.
- Conduct quality checks throughout the assembly and testing process
to ensure products meet company standards and specifications.
- Utilize measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges to
ensure product specifications are met.
- Collaborate with team members to improve processes and efficiencies
within the assembly and testing areas.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety
guidelines and protocols.
- Assist in inventory management by tracking parts and materials used
in the assembly process.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance
productivity and efficiency.

### Description of Level System:

- Level 1** (Minimal Experience): Entry-level assembler who may have
Basic Training Or Limited Experience. Responsibilities May Include
assisting in basic assembly tasks and learning shop processes.
- Level 2** (Intermediate Experience): Assembler with moderate
Experience Who Can Work Independently, Understand Technical Documents,
and perform more complex tasks under supervision.
- Level 3** (Advanced Experience): Skilled assembler who can handle
complex assemblies, troubleshoot issues, and mentor Level 1 and Level 2
team members.
- Level 4** (Expert Experience): Highly experienced assembly technician
with specialized skills.

### Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent, technical training or
certification is a plus.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a related manufacturing
environment.
- Experience with hand tools and power tools commonly used in assembly
work.
- Proficient in reading a nd interpreting blueprints and technical
engineered drawings.
- Familiarity with measuring equipment and tools.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality
work.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team
setting and manage time effectively to meet production deadlines.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to tasks.
- Ability to lift 35lbs from floor to workbench.
