Advertising/Posting Title Marketing & Fan Engagement Posting Summary
Responsible for marketing the University of Vermont Catamounts athletic programs in collaboration with other external relations unit staff, to include all aspects of collegiate marketing and promotions. Create and execute strategic plans, focusing on engagement with all of our constituents, working towards increased attendance and revenue while enhancing our brand.
Minimum Qualifications (or Equivalent Combination Of Education And Experience)
Bachelor’s degree and 2 years marketing and promotions related experience required.
Effective oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills with attention to detail required.
Desirable Qualifications
Knowledge and experience in developing, implementing, and managing marketing plans and game day promotional activities/events; ability to work independently and as a team leader; must have a great work ethic and be a self-starter with the ability to meet a variety of deadlines; strong ability to manage multiple tasks; must be able to work evening and weekend hours.
Thorough knowledge of Microsoft Office with strong computer skills, desktop publishing/design skills (ie Web, Photoshop, Adobe Suite, etc.), and social media. Graphic/creative content experience preferred.
Anticipated Pay Range $48,000 - $52,000 at 11-months Other Information
This is an 11-month position, with the time period of mid-June to mid-July off.
