As a Chemical Site Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the safe and efficient operation of chemical process management within our contract. This role involves managing personnel, equipment and safety protocols, ensuring compliance with environmental and safety regulations. The Chemical Site Manager must possess a strong understanding of industrial processes and development, and regulatory requirements to ensure all activities are carried out according to established standards and protocols.
PRIMARY MANAGEMENT RESPONSIBILITIES MAY INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING:
- Identify and implement cost savings projects.
- Follow standardized reporting for cost savings, account profitability, product conversions, etc. for use at the site.
- Assist with new product implementation and/or product recommendations.
- Participate in sales and technical calls internally and externally.
- Responsible for product procurement activities.
- Collaborate with the other personnel in documenting value delivered to customers through case studies, positive cost analysis, in Six Sigma format when applicable.
- Maintain significant customer technical records.
- Support methods of problem solving, troubleshooting and failure analysis.
- Assist in roll outs and conversion plans.
- Consolidate cost savings data and development of customer presentations
PRIMARY TECHNICAL RESOURCE RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Identifying any barriers to successful program execution
- Manage site personnel and deliverables
- Providing regular updates on program status, including key performance indicators (KPIs) and financial metrics.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Degree in Industrial, Mechanical or Chemical Engineering
- Experience as program manager, preferably within the manufacturing industry
- Combined education and experience will be considered for strong candidates
- Strong understanding of program/project management and process control
- Chemical Management experience a plus
- Excellent leadership & problem-solving skills

Pay: $75,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
