Overview
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Water Well Pump Installer with extensive experience in well systems, construction, and plumbing. In this vital role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining water well pumps and associated equipment on various construction sites. Your expertise will ensure efficient water delivery systems for residential, commercial, and agricultural clients. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects, utilizing your mechanical knowledge and hands-on skills to deliver reliable water solutions.
Duties
- Install, troubleshoot, and repair water well pumps, piping, and related mechanical components according to schematics and blueprints
- Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and construction plans to ensure precise installation
- Use hand tools, power tools, pipe threading equipment, welding gear, and other construction tools to complete installations efficiently
- Perform heavy lifting and manual labor required for well system setup and maintenance on construction sites
- Conduct site inspections to verify proper placement of pumps and piping while adhering to safety standards
- Collaborate with team members on remodeling or construction projects involving plumbing or HVAC systems
- Maintain accurate documentation of work performed, including schematics, installation reports, and maintenance logs
Qualifications
- Proven experience in water well pump installation or related construction plumbing roles
- Strong knowledge of construction site procedures, blueprint reading, and schematic interpretation
- Skilled in welding, pipe threading, carpentry, HVAC systems, and general mechanical work
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, heavy lifting techniques, and safety protocols on construction sites
- Ability to perform basic math calculations for measurements and material estimations
- Valid commercial driver’s license preferred for transporting equipment or materials between sites
- Handyman experience or background in remodeling projects is a plus
- Demonstrated ability to read schematics accurately and follow detailed instructions with precision
