At The Hermitage Club, every meal is part of the member experience. We're looking for enthusiastic, hardworking individuals who are passionate about food and hospitality to join our Culinary Team.
Whether you're an experienced line cook or just beginning your culinary journey, you'll have the opportunity to work alongside talented chefs, learn a variety of kitchen stations, and help create exceptional dining experiences in one of Vermont's premier private mountain clubs.
What You'll Do
As a Culinary Team Member, you'll gain experience across multiple areas of our kitchen operation, which may include:
- Preparing fresh salads, sandwiches, appetizers, entrées, and daily specials
- Assisting with food preparation, plating, and presentation
- Maintaining a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen
- Working collaboratively with chefs and fellow team members during busy service periods
- Delivering the high-quality food and service our members expect

Qualifications
Requirements:
- A solid history of food preparation and service.
- Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.
- Ability to maintain a professional attitude and provide excellent service.
- A flexible schedule, with the ability to work weekends and holidays as needed.
Physical Demands & Work Environment
- Must be able to stand for extended periods and engage in repetitive motions.
- Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 50 pounds.
- Must be comfortable working in a busy bar/restaurant/kitchen environment.
- Flexibility to work in a variety of conditions, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
