Role: Direct Support Professional (DSP) – Community Supports
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct support to individuals with intellectual disabilities and/or autism in community and employment settings.
- Assist with community participation, employment support, and personal care as needed.
- Transport individuals to activities and jobs, promote independence, and encourage positive social interactions.
- Develop and implement individualized goals, advocate for clients, and serve as a positive role model.
- Follow support plans, ensure safety, and communicate using preferred methods.
- Maintain accurate records, complete documentation, and support progress tracking.
- Collaborate with team members, community partners, and families, participating in meetings as needed.
Qualifications & Skills:
- High school diploma or equivalent; experience with individuals with disabilities preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, valid driver’s license, reliable transportation.
- Compassionate, motivated, team-oriented, with strong communication skills.
