Job Summary
Rich Air, a 1st Class, Full Service FBO located at the Floyd Bennett Memorial Airport, (KGFL), is looking for a highly motivated, hardworking, career driven individual to be an integral part of our Rich Air Team! This position will entail being cross trained to the highest standards, to perform duties in a fast pace, detailed orientated, safety driven position, with exposure to several growth opportunities along the way! Our vision at Rich Air is to provide the most exceptional customer service possible to all our guests, (Visiting or based customers at KGFL), while meeting and exceeding the highest safety standards set forth by the FAA at a Part139 Airport!
Working as a Customer Service / Line Service Technician at Rich Air, one can expect to be on the front lines, taking care of not only passenger needs in a corporate environment, but pilot and aircraft needs as well. Below, are just a few mentioned duties one can expect to be exposed to while working this position.
Customer Service / Line Service Technician Duties
- Handling passenger and crew reservation needs
- Noting and scheduling aircraft service request needs
- Data entry, including but not limited to invoicing with our Dispatch / Concierge Service Request System
- Sales and Marketing
- Phone and Aviation Radio Communications
- Marshaling, Repositioning and Fueling aircraft
- Maintaining equipment and facilities
- Assisting with pilot and passenger needs
- Perform daily, monthly and annual Inspections
- Observe all safety procedures and guidelines
- Build and maintain great customer relations
- Exposure to several internal and external aviation opportunities await!
Qualifications
Anyone wishing to apply for this position must meet the following prescreening requirements… You must have at least a High School Diploma or General Education Degree, (GED), is 18 years of age or older, possess a valid driver’s license, able to stand or walk for long periods of time, perform some heavy lifting, have no issues with heights, able to perform simple arithmetic, have basic computer skills and have great customer service skills. Prior aviation related experience is preferred.
