Role Overview: The CT Technologist performs high-quality computed tomography procedures, working closely with radiologists to ensure precise scans while delivering patient-centered care.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct safe and accurate CT exams following departmental protocols
- Provide excellent patient care, education, and radiation safety during procedures
- Maintain detailed patient records in RIS and PACS systems
- Serve as a clinical supervisor and educator for rotating imaging students
- Collaborate on workflow improvements, assist with patient transport, troubleshoot equipment, and maintain a clean, stocked environment
Qualifications & Skills
- Completion of an accredited 2-year Radiologic Technology Program
- Active NYS Radiologic Technologist License and ARRT registration
- ARRT CT Certification or eligibility, with certification obtained within 12 months of hire
- Current BLS Certification
- Preferably 1+ years of radiologic technologist experience with CT exposure
