Role: CT Technologist responsible for performing high-quality computed tomography procedures, ensuring patient safety, and maintaining accurate documentation. Collaborates with radiologists, mentors students, and contributes to workflow improvements.
Responsibilities
- Perform safe and precise CT exams following departmental protocols
- Provide exceptional patient care, education, and radiation safety checks
- Maintain accurate records using RIS and PACS systems
- Serve as a clinical supervisor and educator for rotating imaging students
- Assist with workflow, equipment troubleshooting, and maintaining a clean imaging environment
Qualifications
- Completion of an accredited 2-year Radiologic Technology Program
- Active NYS Radiologic Technologist License and ARRT registration
- ARRT CT Certification or eligibility, with certification obtained within 12 months of hire
- Current BLS Certification
- Experience preferred but not required; 1+ years of radiologic technologist experience desirable
