Role: Pharmacist, Antimicrobial Stewardship
Responsibilities
- Review and adjust antimicrobial therapy to ensure safety and effectiveness.
- Monitor resistance patterns and collaborate with healthcare professionals to improve patient outcomes.
- Conduct prospective audits and provide feedback on antimicrobial use.
- Develop guidelines and order sets to promote best practices.
- Educate providers on antimicrobial stewardship principles.
- Participate in antimicrobial stewardship and pharmacy committees.
