Respiratory Therapist – Pulmonary Function Testing (PFT) Clinic
Provide on-site pulmonary function testing to support diagnosis and treatment of respiratory conditions.
Key Duties
- Perform comprehensive PFTs, including spirometry, lung volume testing, and diffusion studies.
- Monitor patient responses and ensure accurate, high-quality data collection.
- Educate patients on respiratory therapies and self-management.
- Collaborate with pulmonologists, nurses, and allied professionals using evidence-based protocols and advanced technology.
- Use clinical judgment to support appropriate care decisions based on test results.
Qualifications & Skills
- Registered/credentialed respiratory therapist with strong PFT competency.
- Detail-oriented approach to measurement accuracy and patient safety.
- Excellent communication skills for patient education and team collaboration.
- Ability to follow established clinical protocols and apply evidence-based practice.
