Job Summary
The Facilities Administrative Coordinator is a role designed to support the Logistics Manager and the Facilities department of SLR to run efficiently and effectively. It is a liaison between the Logistics Manager and the Facilities team as well as associated contractors, vendors and business associates. It is ideal for someone who is organized and efficient as they are customer-driven and solution oriented.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and execute the day-to-day operational and administrative needs of the Facilities department.
- Collaborate with the Logistics Manager to ensure efficiency and efficacy of SLR Facilities department protocols by coordinating, prioritizing, dispatching and following up on day to day operations and special projects.
- Be an effective and trusted liaison between contractors, vendors and other businesses to support the department’s and SLR needs.
- Request proposals and estimates from vendors and make recommendations to Logistics Manager.
- Knowledge of or willingness to learn building code requirements and insurance necessities and coordinate necessary supporting activities.
- Employee scheduling and effective follow up and flexible problem-solving to meet operational needs.
- Maintain and cultivate positive internal and external relationships.
- Share responsibility for employee payroll and ensure that it is done accurately and in manner that meets all deadlines.
- Complete any/all assigned accounts payable functions.
- Be an eye for quality with regard to the property, plant, and equipment and take action on opportunities for improvement.
- Serve on committees if requested.
- Attend meetings and respectfully make announcements to remind staff team of Facilities needs and protocols when necessary.
- Work on holidays for those that fall during the work week unless requesting/using benefit time for days off.
- Serve on holiday committee in rotation with other staff to provide coverage and activities for holidays.
- Attend staff, training, and other required meetings.
- Complete other duties as requested.

Requirements
- High school or GED required, advanced degree or some college a plus.
- Must have a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
- At least 5 years of administrative experience preferred.
- Experience in the mental health and / or therapeutic field a plus.
- Knowledge and experience in general building construction and maintenance helpful.
- Desire to work closely with others and in a team environment.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively and efficiently with minimal supervision/direction.
- Desire to be part of community supporting individuals with mental health and substance abuse challenges.
- Willingness/commitment to participate in and foster the therapeutic community milieu.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to complete physical work consisting of moderate (15-20 lbs.) lifting, carrying, etc. This position consists of a combination of sitting, standing, kneeling, and walking.
- Work is both indoor and outdoor during all seasons.
