We are a from scratch kitchen, serving sandwiches, soups and baked goods. Can be a very fast paced environment at times. We have been growing our catering side of the business as well, we are just expanding faster than we anticipated!

Early or later starts available to accommodate all scheduling needs. Cook position is a Full Time position with a 4 day work week. Baker position can be full or part time depending on the desire, weekends not required, but would be appreciated.
All positions are tipped, and base pay starts at $14-$16/hr after tips take home is between $18-$24/ hr.

Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and outgoing line cook to join our team! In this role, you will welcome customers into the coffee shop, take orders, and prepare specialty sandwiches in a timely manner. Must be available weekends.
Cook Responsibilities:
- Welcome customers into the coffee shop with a smile
- Take food and beverage orders
- Explain the menu items to customers
- Prepare the sandwich ingredients-some simple sauces, slice deli meats, prepare vegetable toppings
- Enter orders into the POS system with accuracy and efficiency
- Bus tables, wash some dishes and wipe down surfaces
- Maintain a clean work environment
- Ability to follow basic recipes for sauces, making our house made egg patties
- Maintain the stock and par levels of the station
- Assist with the occasional catering order
Baker Responsibilities:
- Be able to follow the master recipes provided by our establishment for pastries, such as, muffins, scones, cookies, savory pastries, etc
- Keep an ongoing tally of current pastry stock levels
- Be able to manage your time efficiently to get the most product produced
- Notify owners when baking products need to be reordered
Qualifications:
- Familiarity with food safety guidelines
- Excellent customer service skills
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to remain calm in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Ability to lift 50 pounds
- Must have reliable transportation
