Job Summary:
The healthcare professional specializing in Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) will provide post-operative recovery services in a healthcare organization located in Saint Albans, Vermont. This position involves working during daytime shifts, with a standard schedule of eight hours per shift and a minimum of 40 hours per week. The role is suited for an individual with at least one year of relevant experience in PACU or perioperative nursing.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Days shift, 8 hours per day, minimum of 40 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS), additional certifications such as Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) preferred; at least 1 year of experience in Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) or related field; valid licensure to practice in Vermont; no float rotation required
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with electronic fetal heart monitoring (EFM) is a plus
- Additional Information: The role involves immediate patient post-operative assessment and recovery, ensuring patient safety following anesthesia procedures. The position requires adherence to hospital policies and procedures, including SOPs for patient care and safety.
