Seeking an
RN Operating Room to deliver safe, evidence-based
perioperative nursing care for a diverse surgical population in an on-site setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Circulate and/or scrub as needed to support surgical procedures.
- Prepare, maintain, and support a sterile field and aseptic technique.
- Coordinate with surgeons, anesthesia, and other OR support staff.
- Monitor patient status closely during procedures and respond to changing needs.
- Accurately document care in the EMR.
- Provide patient and family education as appropriate.
- Participate in quality and safety initiatives and ongoing continuing education.
Qualifications & Skills
- Current RN licensure.
- Strong knowledge of perioperative nursing practices and infection control/sterile technique.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills in a high-acuity environment.
- Ability to monitor patients and maintain safety standards throughout procedures.
- Competence with EMR documentation.
