We are seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist (OT) to provide full-time rehabilitation services in a skilled nursing environment.
Responsibilities Include
- Evaluating residents and developing personalized OT treatment plans.
- Selecting activities to promote residents' independence in daily living.
- Assessing, observing, and documenting therapy progress through detailed reports.
- Maintaining confidentiality and fostering a collaborative relationship with the healthcare team.
Qualifications And Skills
- Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Program.
- Current New York State OT License or actively working toward licensure.
- Experience in skilled nursing or geriatric care preferred; new graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Knowledge of evidence-based practices aligned with American Occupational Therapy Association standards.
